I’m 45 years old woman, with asthma and an autoimmune disease, considered “immunocompromised” with both issues considered “not well controlled.” I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in 2001 at the age of 24. I went through about 10 years of medication treatments, got really sick from the biologics, so I quit all medications.
After quitting all medications, over the years, the fatigue got progressively worse and and became brutal. I always tell people ‘you will never understand unless it happens to you.’ Some days, even taking a shower would wear me out so bad I had to take a good 2hr nap. Doing things like going grocery shopping would literally make me so tired I could not function for several days. All I could do was sleep. I was missing out on so much of my kids lives because of this. My then 12-year-old had to cook dinner most nights because I just didn’t have the energy to do it.
I had to “prepare” myself for things like softball games and tournament. By that, I mean I had to rest for several days before in order to make it through the day. Then I’d be down again for another 4-5 days.
I started taking Carbon January 1, 2021. When I started taking it, I started noticing more energy and less fatigue. I was able to do more and more things I haven’t been able to do in years. I actually had energy to make it though a day without having to take a hap. At one point, I ran out of carbon for about a week or so. Over that week, each day I got more and more fatigued. There was a definitely difference in my body. As soon as I got more carbon and started taking it again, my energy levels picked back up. The fatigue I had was gone. Don’t get me wrong, I still have my “bad days”, but they are not anything near what they were before. I have fewer bad days, and when I am feeling bad, it’s usually only a day or so instead of 4-5 days.
I also have not gotten Covid, despite members of my family having it and us all living in a small 3 bedroom, 1 bath house. My husband was diagnosed with it a couple of months after I started taking carbon. We thought it was just a sinus infection, so we hadn’t been taking any precautions. I kissed him goodnight, slept in the same bed with him, and used the same bathroom. I tested negative twice. Once while he had it and a 2nd time about five days after his quarantine ended. My 15-year-old daughter had covid a few weeks ago at the beginning of September. Once again, despite being in close quarters, I have tested negative for Covid THREE times. We did the home test first which came out negative, then went and did the test at CVS which was also negative. I waited 4 days after her quarantine period ended and tested negative once again. I am confident this is due to the carbon.
The carbon has definitely changed my life for the better, and I am internally grateful for that.
