I am a 54 year old woman. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymph Node cancer at the base of my Esophagus, the lymph nodes right under my right rib cage and the upper right lobe of my right lung. I was terrified needless to say.
I have known Charles for at least 20 years, so when he told me about the Carbon and the benefits, he heard it could offer me, I knew I had to try it! I started the Grafex 10 days before my first chemo/radiation treatments.
My journey began mid-December and after many tests, my doctors could not come to a conclusion for what was wrong with me. Once they decided, I was not a candidate for surgery, I meet with other doctors and this is when I got my terrible news. After another long wait, I finally met with my Oncologist to discuss what chemo treatment I would be taking.
There would be 6 chemo treatments at 6 hours each. My doctor prepared me stating, you would lose your hair, get sick, expect to lose 20 pounds, and have to eat with plastic ware. I would also have to take radiation 5 days for 6 weeks in seven places around my torso. As I started my treatments, all the while I continued taking the Grafex. I remembered what the doctors prepared me for and what to expect, and I kept waiting and waiting, but as a week goes by, I noticed something. I had not lost my hair and didn’t get sick! Well, I thought it would come tomorrow.
I met with my doctor, a routine checkup, and again he stated I was going to lose my hair and lose weight due to sickness as I started my second Chemo treatment. I continued taking my Grafex as I finally finished all my treatments. My hair only thinned, I never got sick and nothing tasted like metal, another thing I was told to expect.
I truly believe that by taking Grafex, it helped me keep my hair and kept me from getting sick! With all the people around me in the treatment room having similar treatments, all looked very sick, weak, and all lost their hair. The only thing I was doing different was the Grafex!
