THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF NANO CARBON FULLERENE MOLECULES
Grafex® Super[C60] is a brand name for a new Nanocarbon Molecule that has demonstrated incredible potent antioxidant properties which could lead to relief from disease and aging.
Introduction:
Being “distinct” individual molecules, they behave differently, whereby their properties and behavior can be manageably altered, like most any other distinct individual organic molecule. Like graphite in pencil lead and diamond in wedding rings, Regular C60 material consists exclusively of carbon.
NOTE: “The Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecules, as well as Regular C60 Carbon Molecules, are being offered as a food supplement as well as for additional research purposes only and are not FDA approved to treat any human or animal medical conditions”.
By Dr. Tom Bailey, Chief Scientist, and Organic Chemist.
Tom’s work experience
includes the prestigious industrial firms of Dow Chemical,
Shell Oil and Exxon-Mobil.
With over seven years of being involved with the ongoing research and development of GNO’s Grafex™Super C-60 Fullerenes, Dr. Bailey is more than qualified to address questions as to the characteristics and capabilities of this unbelievable carbon material.
Unlike their sister carbon allotropes, Diamond and Graphite, Fullerenes generally come as individual molecules bearing a curved three-dimensional architecture, such as Grafex® Super[C60] and Regular C60. (Allotropes are the elements which exist in two or more different forms in the same physical state).
A Carbon C60 Buckyball is a nanocarbon molecule, composed of a unique, near-spherical shaped arrangement of 60 carbon atoms with a diameter of approximately “one nanometer” (nm).
As with Graphite and Diamond having drastically different properties, Fullerenes also exhibit altogether different properties as is recognized by their defining curvature.
Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecules, however, are multilayered concentric-shelled fullerene systems, often viewed as onions, forming around a buckyball (Regular C60) core. They average 10 to 20 layers with roughly half a million carbons per onion unit with a diameter of approximately 20 to 60 nanometers per molecule.
Additionally, Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecules are unique among carbon nano-onions (CNOs), coming in long chains of fused onions bearing several millions carbon atoms per molecule.
Vitamin C and superfoods like blueberries are also highly prized as anti-oxidants, because of their ability to combat excess free radicals in the body.
A molecule of “Regular C-60” having 60 atoms has been reported to be 272 times more effective than Vitamin C, as an antioxidant, free radical scavenger. However, testing completed on the Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecule (having on average 5,000,000 atoms on each molecule) have shown its capacity as an antioxidant, and free radical scavenger to be, at least “10 times more effective” than that of the Regular C-60 Molecule.
Fullerenes which include Regular C60 and Grafex® Super[C-60], have been associated with health-enhancing benefits in a broad list of health issues and chronic diseases.
These Fullerene-bonded carbon molecules bearing a curved shape, soak up free radicals, which are the chemicals that are primarily responsible for diseases and inflammation.
The Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecule is a nano carbon material that exhibits incredibly potent antioxidant properties that may augment the body’s ability to manage oxidative stress in both healthy and diseased states.
The Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecule’s also have the potential for protecting the body from harmful effects of aging, radiation exposure and environmental toxins by augmenting our oxidative stress management system.
It may surprise some people, but reactive oxygen species (ROS) are essential molecules and serve essential roles in cells. The mitochondria is the primary source of free radicals, or reactive oxygen species (ROS), that are continuously created during the body’s energy production process in cells.
Though more research is needed, there is emerging evidence that the Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecule could be the world’s most potent antioxidant, far surpassing the Regular C-60 Molecule.
Uncontrolled free radicals wreak tremendous damage to the delicate critical functional tissues of the cells as with membranes, proteins, enzymes, and DNA, thereby being triggers for inflammation leading to diseases like cancer.
The evidence is based on the results of published research that has been conducted with Fullerene Molecules as well as our internal research and testing by independent labs and universities.
The first enhanced longevity report on the Regular C60 (2012) came as a surprise from a thorough ingestion toxicity study on rats. This study involved mixing the Regular C60 carbon molecule in olive oil and administering it to research rats, by a French research team (Baati, et. al.). The results of this research testing, demonstrated that there was no toxicity from the Regular C60 carbon, but…… the bigger surprise was when they discovered that these test rats were enjoying an average life extension of 92%.
The Desantis longevity observations were corroborated by a subsequent ingestion study (2½ year) with the Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecules, conducted by Graphitic Nano Onions, LLC. (2017).(See 2nd mice testing)
Another surprise report of life extension arose as a result of the Grafex® Super[C-60] Molecule being studied (over a 2½ year period) for subcutaneous administration in cancer research, utilizing “genetically engineered” mice, by Dr. Mark Desantis at the University of New York (2014). (see 1st mice testing)
It must be “emphasized” that anyone that might be considering taking any of the various forms of Fullerene Molecules, though shown to be nontoxic; take every precaution to insure they are consuming a pure, high quality tested Fullerene material.
Word of these successes with Grafex® Super[C-60] gradually slipped out to the general public. Foremost, was the observation of an apparent beneficial effect on longevity, which lead to a growing interest in whether people could benefit from oral consumption of these Fullerene Molecules. Many questions arose as to what would be the proper dosing if self-testers wanted to experiment.
I must emphasize here that we are not endorsing or encouraging anyone to take any of these Fullerene materials orally. However in an effort to insure that everyone that might venture forth on their own anyway, I would like to present some information that we have acquired for you to read so you can, at the very least, make an educated determination as to how and whether you may want to experiment with any of these Fullerene materials.
